Dr. Nagi Iskander

Dr. Nagi Iskander is the Medical Advisor, Middle East Affairs. He coordinates inquiries, medical consultations and treatment of international patients at Cedars-Sinai. In addition, he serves as a liaison between international patients and healthcare providers and promotes Cedars-Sinai medical services in the Middle East.
Dr. Iskander received his medical degree from Alexandria University, Egypt in 1980. He received his postgraduate degree in Maternal and Child Health from the Royal College of Physicians, Dublin, Ireland in 1984. He was also granted a diploma in Tropical Medicine and International Health from New York Medical College, New York in 1993. More recently, he received a Master of Public Health degree from University of California, Los Angeles in 2004.
Throughout most of his clinical career, Dr. Iskander worked in different countries including the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Italy. In addition, he spent more than 14 years in the Middle East, including Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. For more than 12 years, Dr. Iskander worked in the field of International Health in the United States.
