Minister of Tourism and Aviation
Mr. Vincent Vanderpool-Wallace is Minister of Tourism and Aviation and a senator appointed by Prime Minister Hubert A. Ingraham. His illustrious career includes 11 years at Resorts International, where he rose to the position of Sr. Vice President, 12 years as Director General of the Ministry of Tourism and three years as Secretary General of the Caribbean Tourism Organization.
Mr. Vanderpool-Wallace has received many awards and has been recognized by several prestigious professional organizations. These include the Princeps Prize for scholarship from Government High School and the Albert E. Koehl Award for Lifetime Achievement in Advertising by Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI).
He has four children - Aleksandr, Arianna, Khilian and Cydnay - and is married to the former Tietchka Knowles of Nassau.
He has written numerous training manuals, professional articles, and promotional pieces and he has recently published and nationally distributed a 38-page booklet on how children process life change, death, and divorce loss released in the US and New Zealand. In addition, Trey is currently working on a book about the “living authentically” to be published in 2009.
Trey holds a Master of Science Degree in Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington.
Trey and his partner live in Denver Colorado with their dogs Bella and Keiser.
